Trust Cultures and the Politics of Relational Legitimacy: Rethinking Trust from the Global South

← Book projects · Research

About the project

This book develops trust cultures as an account of the moral expectations and relationships through which people judge institutions. Grounded in Philippine experience and the Global South, it asks how sincerity, competence, care, and belonging shape the recognition and contestation of political authority.
